Robbie Rivera

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Robbie Rivera is known for producing “tuff, sexy tribal house music”, with elements of garage and latin.

In 2000, Rivera’s infectious piano track “Bang” became a huge hit, making it to #1 on the UK dance chart and propelling him to stardom. The track was given a great deal of airtime on Radio One, Capital and Kiss FM, having captured the attention of the likes of Judge Jules and Pete Tong. It was the go-to track of the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

In 1998, motivated by complete artistic control, Robbie Rivera launched his own record label, Juicy Music. He produced his first album Do You Want More? for Ultra Records and Independence in France. The first single “Which Way You’re Going”, inspired by Coldplay’s hit “Clocks”, reached the #1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Songs Chart, and was released on the UK label Toolroom. In 2003, he released “Girlfriend”, featuring vocals by Justine Suissa.

2007 saw the launch of Rivera’s widely-acclaimed “Juicy” radio show which, today, can be heard on stations around the world from Norway to Argentina! His branded Juicy-themed DJ shows have a devoted following of club goers that number in the thousands at each show; the most well known of these parties is Juicy Beach, held annually at the oceanfront Nikki Beach Club venue in South Beach, Miami, during theWinter Music Conference there.

Over the years, Rivera has collaborated with artists including Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Santana, Faithless, Basement Jaxx, Deadmau5, Tiesto, Kaskade, Pink, Ferry Corsten and David Guetta.
