Why DJs get stuck

Learning to mix is only part of becoming bookable.

Paid DJ work also requires set structure, crowd awareness, preparation, reliability and a profile that gives clients and agencies confidence.

  • Replace unstructured practice with a progression plan
  • Connect technical skill to professional presentation
  • Receive a useful assessment, not just more tutorials
  • Understand what clients and agencies require

Questions, answered

Make a clear, informed choice.

Is this suitable for a complete beginner?

Yes. Certified DJ Training starts with foundations and builds towards a structured assessed set.

How experienced must I be for the Accelerator?

You should already be able to mix and be ready to share your current experience. Applications are reviewed for programme fit.

What equipment or software do I need?

A laptop, headphones, DJ software and compatible controller or decks.

How long does the training take?

Foundation is designed around approximately eight weeks. Accelerator usually takes eight to twelve weeks.

Is certification earned through assessment?

Yes. Certification is earned after successfully completing the required assessment, not by purchasing or only watching videos.

Does the Accelerator guarantee a Storm DJs roster place?

No. It includes an audition, but roster acceptance depends on meeting the required standard and suitable opportunities.

What happens during the audition?

Your set, preparation, profile and professional readiness are reviewed, followed by clear feedback and next steps.

What is the refund policy?

Foundation has a draft 14-day review period subject to content accessed. Accelerator terms depend on personalised services delivered. Full terms apply.

See all questions
How much time should I allow each week?

Allow around three to five hours for learning and structured practice.

Does it guarantee paid bookings?

No. Training does not guarantee bookings, fees or income.

What does the opportunity pathway mean?

DJs who meet the standard can become eligible for suitable opportunities. Availability depends on location, performance standard, client requirements and available work.

Are there geographical restrictions?

Applications are welcomed across the UK, but opportunity availability varies by location and willingness to travel.

When does course access begin?

The current draft term is access after confirmed Foundation payment or approved Accelerator enrolment.

How long do I retain access?

The current draft includes lifetime access to the curriculum.

Can I pay in instalments?

A four-payment Accelerator plan is being prepared but is not currently presented as a live checkout option.

Is VAT included?

Yes.

What if my Accelerator application is unsuitable?

No payment is taken with the application. We will explain the decision and may recommend Foundation training or other next steps.
